INTRODUCTION 
DK-2831 is a self-contained dual output, vandal resistant, weatherproof keypad mainly designed for operating electric door lock in access control; and remote control of other equipment, such as alarm arm-disarm. The keypad’s operation timer is programmable from of 1 second to over 24 hours that is also good for automatic operator system in industry. The keypad can plug in Wi-Fi Module (AP-02) as a Wi-Fi Keypad. 
The keypad employs the DK-2800 MK-II Tri-Tech operation software that makes it compatible with the auxiliary reader, auxiliary keypad and the split-decoder for Standalone, Split-decoded and Multi-station operations in system expansions.

Output 1 is a Form C relay with 1A/24VDC contact rating. It is mainly for electric door lock actuation and is virtually compatible with any Fail-safe or Fail-secure electric lock.

Output 2 is also a Form C relay with 1A/24VDC contact rating. In the “Standard” version (DK-2831A), it is an auxiliary output contact prepared for equipment control. In the “Bell Button” version (DK-2831B), it is an output contact for actuating a low power external electronic door chime. DK-2831 has die-cast metal housing that is designed for surface mount on wall to match with office and home decors.
