AEI PROTECT-ON SYSTEMS LTD., (nicknamed APO or AEI by most customers) is a Hong Kong based company and has been specialized in development, manufacturing and marketing of high quality Security Systems since 1979.
Manufacturing of security systems is our major business. The product lines include Digital Access Control Keypads, Intruder & Burglar Alarm Control Panels, Security Auto Dialers, Electric Door Locks, PIR Motion Sensors and Alarm Accessories. They are under the brand names of APO or AEI.
We have a strong product development team of talented staff, which includes the software and hardware electronic engineers, mechanical engineers and art designers. All our projects starting from product proposal brain storming to the final products in production are done fully in house.
We promise a very competitive position in pricing and product selections in the security product industry. Also, we always undertake our most endeavors to provide good service to customers satisfaction.

AEI Protect-On Systems Limited¡V(APO) will continue to provide technical supports to those old products from AEI Advanced Electronics Industry Limited who stopped her operation in 2008. Those old products from AEI are going to obsolete gradually. We strongly recommend customers to take the new or replacement products showing on our Website for their installations.
The Milestones of AEI Protect-On Systems Limited
1979 --- Established a private company ¡§Advanced Electronics Industry¡¨ with a business partner in Hong Kong to manufacture Ultrasonic Intrusion Alarms, Alarm Control Modules and related electronic products. The brand of  has been used on the products since that year.
1981 --- Started to offer Complete Alarm Control Panels for burglar alarm market and Car Alarms for DIY market.
1985 --- The first company in Hong Kong to produce Digital Keypads for Access Control.
1986 --- The first company in Hong Kong to produce Passive Infrared Motion Detectors (PIR Detectors) for security systems.
1989 --- Registered the company to be a private limited company ¡§AEI Advanced Electronics Industry Limited¡¨ in Hong Kong.
1991 --- Moved the production facilities to China.
1996 --- Set up a consumer product division for Electronic Pet and Animal Training/Control devices.
1997 --- Started to offer Electric Door Locks for the protections in businesses and homes.
1998 --- Started to offer Intruder & Burglar Alarm Control Panels with Auto-dialer and Communicator for the installer market.
2000 --- Set up an independent company ¡§Protect-On Systems Limited¡¨ in Hong Kong to market and concentrate the engineering efforts in development of new products.
2001 --- Started to launch the refreshed and up-graded products on the market with the specialty and engineering efforts of Protect-On Systems Limited.
2008 --- An unified company ¡§AEI Protect-On Systems Limited¡¨ is formed in Hong Kong to operate the whole organization after eight years of successful co-operation of the two companies and registered a new trademark logo  (APO) to reflect the new era of the company and the products. AEI Advanced Electronics Industry Limited stopped her operation in this year.
2009 --- Started to launch the newly developed Vandal Resistant, Weatherproof, Back-lit Metal Button Access Control Keypads on worldwide market. We are the first company in Hong Kong to offer the industrial grade access control keypads.
